Topic: How Badly Do You Want It?

Today’s Scripture
Mark 10:48, AMP – Many sternly rebuked him, telling him to keep still and be quiet; but he kept on shouting out all the more, “Son of David (Messiah), have mercy on me!”

Joel Osteen 28 November 2021 Daily Devotional Message

There were other sick people in the big crowd that day, but a blind beggar named Bartimaeus was the only person who was healed. Why? He wanted it more than they did. He wanted it so badly that he didn’t let people talk him out of his miracle. When they said to be quiet, he shouted even more. If he would have listened to them, he would have missed his miracle.

The dreams God put in your heart and the promises He’s spoken to you are not going to come to pass without opposition, without delays, without people trying to talk you out of it. There will be many opportunities to get discouraged and think it’s not meant to be. If you give up the first time or the thirtieth time, you don’t want it badly enough. You can’t be moved by what’s not working out, by how long it’s taking, by who’s not for you. You know the Most High God is for you, and that He is all you need.

Prayer for Today
Father, thank You for the dreams You put in my heart and for the promises You’ve spoken. If I have to believe my whole life for their fulfillment, I’m going keep believing. Because You are for me, I won’t be moved by who’s not for me or by what’s not working out. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
