Topic: Even Though
Scripture: Though the fig tree may not blossom, nor fruit be on the vines; though the labor of the olive may fail, and the fields yield no food; though the flock may be cut off from the fold, and there be no herd in the stalls—yet I will rejoice in the Lord, I will [find] joy in the God of my salvation. Habakkuk 3:17-18

David Jeremiah Today 14 February 2022 Devotional Message
Every Christian could paraphrase Habakkuk’s words. We have all been in situations where God seems to be absent from our need. The question is, What do we do then? Do we give up on God, or do we praise Him “even though”?
Habakkuk gives his answer: In chapters 1 and 2, he dialogues with God about Judah’s dire situation. But then, in chapter 3, he pens a beautiful prayer—a prayer like a psalm—in which he praises God even though he cannot see the answers to his prayers. And that is the lesson for us. Even when things are not going “right,” even when our faith is stretched thin, we should “rejoice in the Lord.”

If you are in a time of need, continue to rejoice in the Lord and praise Him. He will enable you to ascend to “high hills” (Habakkuk 3:19).
We should always be wearing the garment of praise, not just waving a palm branch now and then.

Salvation Prayer
Have you ever made Jesus the Lord and Savior of your life?
If not, pray this prayer and start a new life in Christ.
Dear God, I come to You in the Name of Jesus. I admit that I am not right with You, and I want to be right with You. I ask You to forgive me of all my sins. The Bible says if I confess with my mouth that “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in my heart that God raised Him from the dead, I will be saved (Rom. 10:9). I believe with my heart and I confess with my mouth that Jesus is the Lord and Savior of my life. Thank You for saving me! In Jesus’ Name I pray. Amen.
