TOPIC: The Final Frontier

For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.
1 Corinthians 15:52

Recommended Reading: 1 Thessalonians 4:13-17

Space travel is available now for anyone willing or able to buy a ticket. One space travel website called it: “The most breathtaking six hours of your life. To gaze upon Earth from space—to take in the astounding views and vivid colors—is an unforgettable spectacle that astronauts call life-altering.”[1]

Jesus has something even better for His children. The Bible says, “For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the air” (1 Thessalonians 4:16-17).

In that moment, we’ll be weightless, flying upward at the speed of light, unafraid, exhilarated, instantly glorified and made imperishable; and there will be no danger of a crash landing. Instead, we’ll meet the Lord in the air with imperishable bodies, and all of eternity to enjoy them.

Are you ready for takeoff?

Precisely because we cannot predict the moment, we must be ready at all moments.

Salvation Prayer

Have you ever made Jesus the Lord and Savior of your life?

If not, pray this prayer and start a new life in Christ.

Dear God, I come to You in the Name of Jesus. I admit that I am not right with You, and I want to be right with You. I ask You to forgive me of all my sins. The Bible says if I confess with my mouth that “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in my heart that God raised Him from the dead, I will be saved (Rom. 10:9). I believe with my heart and I confess with my mouth that Jesus is the Lord and Savior of my life. Thank You for saving me! In Jesus’ Name I pray. Amen.

If you prayed this prayer for the first time, we would like to know.  Click here to send us an e-mail or share your testimony.
