Topic: Right Choices Lead To Right Result
Scripture: Now we know that whatever the Law says, it speaks to those who are under the Law, so that [the murmurs and excuses of] every mouth may be hushed and all the world may be held accountable to God. Romans 3:19 (AMPC)
Joyce Meyer Daily Devotional 23 April 2022 MESSAGE
How can I be less impulsive when making decisions?
Do you ever say, “I know I shouldn’t do this, but…”; “I know I shouldn’t say this, but…”; “I know I shouldn’t act like this, but…”; “I know I should forgive her, but…”? What we’re really saying is, “I know I’m making a wrong choice, but I hope I can get by with it.”
We live in a society where many people do not want to be accountable for their actions. A lot of people want to be able to make wrong choices and not have wrong results. But it doesn’t work that way.
“Accountable” means “answerable.” Sooner or later, we will have to answer for our choices. If we don’t choose to be accountable, eventually our circumstances will force us to be accountable.
Prayer Starter: Lord, help me make right choices so that I can get the results I want and will be happy with, amen.

Salvation Prayer
Have you ever made Jesus the Lord and Savior of your life?
If not, pray this prayer and start a new life in Christ.
Dear God, I come to You in the Name of Jesus. I admit that I am not right with You, and I want to be right with You. I ask You to forgive me of all my sins. The Bible says if I confess with my mouth that “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in my heart that God raised Him from the dead, I will be saved (Rom. 10:9). I believe with my heart and I confess with my mouth that Jesus is the Lord and Savior of my life. Thank You for saving me! In Jesus’ Name I pray. Amen.
