Joel Osteen Devotional 3rd September 2022 Message for Today
TOPIC: Run to Your Challenges
TODAY’S SCRIPTURE
1 Samuel 17:48, NLT – As Goliath moved closer to attack, David quickly ran out to meet him.
Joel Osteen Devotional 3rd September 2022 TODAY’S WORD
David was a teenager and shepherd with no military training, experience, or equipment. All he had was a slingshot and five smooth stones. Goliath was almost twice his size, extremely powerful, and an experienced military professional, wearing a full set of armor. You would think David would have tried to sneak up on Goliath. But when you know who you are, when you know you’ve been equipped and empowered, when you know God being for you is more than the world being against you, you won’t run from your challenges; you’ll run to your challenges.

Do you know what God has given you? Do you know you have what you need to unlock every door to your destiny? God doesn’t create anyone without putting something significant inside. That’s why the enemy works overtime trying to convince you that you’re not enough. What you have may look insignificant, like it’s not enough, but when God breathes on it, it will become more than enough. Don’t live from a deficit mentality.
PRAYER FOR TODAY
Father, thank You that when the challenges in my way look bigger, stronger, and more powerful than I can handle, I can run toward them, knowing You are breathing on my life and making me more than enough. I believe You being for me is more than anything that comes against me. In Jesus’ Name, Amen
Salvation Prayer
Have you ever made Jesus the Lord and Savior of your life?
If not, pray this prayer and start a new life in Christ.
Dear God, I come to You in the Name of Jesus. I admit that I am not right with You, and I want to be right with You. I ask You to forgive me of all my sins. The Bible says if I confess with my mouth that “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in my heart that God raised Him from the dead, I will be saved (Rom. 10:9). I believe with my heart and I confess with my mouth that Jesus is the Lord and Savior of my life. Thank You for saving me! In Jesus’ Name I pray. Amen.
