MFM Devotional 11th September 2022 OUTLINE

Apostle Paul, in our Fire Scripture today, listed all the afflictions that can come in the way of believers. He added that in spite of the afflictions, nothing should separate you from the love of God. Do you think that God will not save you because of your sins? Do you ever feel that you are beyond redemption? Then Romans 8:31-34 is especially for you.

God gave His Son Jesus Christ to die for you so that you might be saved. No matter your situation, the Bible says, you are more than conquerors. To be more than a conqueror means that you do not just have victory but an overwhelmingly victorious life. These songs say ‘Jesus conquered the world and gave us victory Victor, Victory, Halleluiah!

Jesus has broken all my fetters He has broken all my fetters He has broken all my fetters He has set me free I can sing Halleluiah (3) He has set me free” These are songs of victory. Beloved, you are not just a conqueror but more than conquerors through Christ in all circumstances of life. To be more than conquerors means to face the trials of life with the assurance that you are not alone. You have a Father who is ready to fight and win for you (Exo. 14:14).

So, you must put your trust and love in God if you really want Him to fight the powers troubling your life and give you victory. The Bible says in John 16:33 that in the world, you will face tribulations but be of good cheer because He has conquered the world for you. In Romans 8:35, Paul listed lost hope. He said, “In all these things we are more than conquerors” (Romans 8:37).

No matter what life brings to you, there is enough power in Christ to overcome because He loves you. Have confidence in God that He will give you victory (Jer. 1:19). Goliath trusted in his gods but David trusted in the Lord God of host and he defeated Goliath. If you believe in God, no weapon of the enemy formed against you shall prosper. Beloved, you are more than a conqueror.

Salvation Prayer

Have you ever made Jesus the Lord and Savior of your life?

If not, pray this prayer and start a new life in Christ.

Dear God, I come to You in the Name of Jesus. I admit that I am not right with You, and I want to be right with You. I ask You to forgive me of all my sins. The Bible says if I confess with my mouth that “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in my heart that God raised Him from the dead, I will be saved (Rom. 10:9). I believe with my heart and I confess with my mouth that Jesus is the Lord and Savior of my life. Thank You for saving me! In Jesus’ Name I pray. Amen.
