Topic: God Is Able and Willing to Heal You

Scripture: Suddenly, a man with leprosy approached Him and knelt before Him. “Lord,” the man said, “if You are willing, You can heal me and make me clean.” Jesus reached out and touched him. “I am willing,” He said. “Be healed!” And instantly the leprosy disappeared. Matthew 8:2–3, NLT

Joseph Prince Daily Devotional 4 November 2022 MESSAGE

Once, there was a man with leprosy who came to Jesus saying, “Lord, if You are willing, You can make me clean.” This man didn’t have a problem believing that Jesus had the ability and power to heal him. He just wasn’t sure if Jesus was willing to do it for him.

I want you to look at Jesus’ response to the man and see God’s heart for you where healing is concerned. Jesus answered the man by touching him and saying, “I am willing. Be healed.”

What did Jesus say? “I am willing.” Did He just say it and do nothing? No, He stretched forth His hand to the man and restored the afflicted man to wholeness.

Today, God wants you to know that He is both able AND willing to heal you. Start to realize and believe that He wants you healed more than you want to be healed!

Salvation Prayer

Have you ever made Jesus the Lord and Savior of your life?

If not, pray this prayer and start a new life in Christ.

Dear God, I come to You in the Name of Jesus. I admit that I am not right with You, and I want to be right with You. I ask You to forgive me of all my sins. The Bible says if I confess with my mouth that “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in my heart that God raised Him from the dead, I will be saved (Rom. 10:9). I believe with my heart and I confess with my mouth that Jesus is the Lord and Savior of my life. Thank You for saving me! In Jesus’ Name I pray. Amen.
