David Jeremiah Devotional 22nd December 2022 MESSAGE
The name Immanuel means “God with us,” for Jesus came uniquely to show us how God would live among us. He came to show us how God lives, thinks, feels, decides, knows, and loves. When we see Him, we see God. We also see the One who alone can bring us into God’s presence.
James L. Snyder wrote, “Throughout the history of humanity, there have been great discoveries. I am not sure which one we could point to and say, ‘That is the greatest discovery in the world.’ But for the hungry heart, there is but one discovery that satisfies it: the discovery of the manifest, conscious presence of God.”[1]
From the days of Adam and Eve, God has longed to be with His people, and He wants to be with us forevermore. Where He is, there we will be forever. If only we thought about this more! The reality of God’s manifest, conscious presence strengthens us as we serve Him each day. We can turn to Him at any moment and speak to Him. This Christmas enjoy the presence of God that Jesus came to provide. He will go with us and give us rest.
If we live a life of prayer, God is present everywhere.

Salvation Prayer
Have you ever made Jesus the Lord and Savior of your life?
If not, pray this prayer and start a new life in Christ.
Dear God, I come to You in the Name of Jesus. I admit that I am not right with You, and I want to be right with You. I ask You to forgive me of all my sins. The Bible says if I confess with my mouth that “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in my heart that God raised Him from the dead, I will be saved (Rom. 10:9). I believe with my heart and I confess with my mouth that Jesus is the Lord and Savior of my life. Thank You for saving me! In Jesus’ Name I pray. Amen.
