TOPIC: Is Your Dressing Christ-Like?
SCRIPTURE: And when he had found him, he brought him unto Antioch. And it came to pass, that a whole year they assembled themselves with the church, and taught much people. And the disciples were called Christians first in Antioch. Acts 11:26
THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: One area that shows the genuine transformation of your character is the way you dress.

It has been confirmed that authentic Christianity is about positive change of habit and lifestyle.
That goes to say that anyone who has become a Christian or genuinely born again will experience a transformation of character and conduct by God.
Now, one area that shows the genuine transformation of your character is the way you dress. If you are a Christian or claim to be genuinely born again but you still dress indecently, you need to examine yourself. The question to ask is: What kind of change did you experience from God that did not change your wardrobe so you could appear Christ-like and decent? When I gave my life to Christ, my wardrobe changed even as a man.

Some time ago, I saw a wrinkled elderly woman at the church reception, yet, she was indecently dressed. Terrible!
At that point, it became clear to me that dressing or appearing in seductive manners is not just about fashion but purely a demonic agenda. It is the spirit of the age that is at work, defiling the world and trying to defile the church, but that demon must be resisted.
Beloved, dressing is not a matter of rules and regulations; let your conscience convince you. The way you look, do you represent the Kingdom of God? If Jesus Christ should appear suddenly, would He call you a daughter; would Christ call you a son? When was the last time someone looked at you and became born again because of your appearance?
Beloved, let your life be Christ-like, beginning from your appearance.
Remember this: One area that shows the genuine transformation of your character is the way you dress.
ASSIGNMENTS:
1. Allow God to change you from within.
2. Let your inner life reflect on your outward appearance. Dress like a child of God and not like a child of the devil.
PRAYER: Lord, help me not to lure people to damnation by my dressing and appearance. Deliver me from seductive dressing. Let my appearance be Christ-like, Lord, in Jesus’ Name.

Dear God, I come to You in the Name of Jesus. I admit that I am not right with You, and I want to be right with You. I ask You to forgive me of all my sins. The Bible says if I confess with my mouth that “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in my heart that God raised Him from the dead, I will be saved (Rom. 10:9).
