TOPIC: In the Fullness of Time

TODAY’S SCRIPTURE
Galatians 4:4–5, NKJV
But when the fullness of the time had come, God sent forth His Son, born of a woman, born under the law, to redeem those who were under the law, that we might receive the adoption as sons.

Joel Osteen Daily Devotional 25th December 2022 | TODAY’S WORD

Beyond the Christmas lights and presents, beyond the music and great food, God reminds us that in the fullness of time He gave us the most wonderful gift that has ever been given…this gift is Jesus. The apostle Paul was so overwhelmed at the thought of all that God has given us in His Son that instead of trying to put it all in words, he says, “Thank God for His Son—His Gift too wonderful for words.” Jesus is God’s perfect, indescribable gift. “God loved us so much that He gave His Son, Jesus, so that we can have eternal life.” Jesus, the babe in the manger. Jesus, the Savior of the world, who brought the promise of unconditional love, unending hope, and eternal life to every person who believes in Him.

And the amazing thing is that not only are we able to receive Jesus Christ into our hearts, but we are able to share Him with others every day of the year! This is what Christmas is all about.

PRAYER FOR TODAY
Father, thank You for the perfect, indescribable gift of Your Son Jesus, who is too wonderful for words. Thank You for the gift of eternal life, the unending hope found in Him, and the unconditional love You have given me. I look forward to sharing this gift with others. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

Salvation Prayer

Have you ever made Jesus the Lord and Savior of your life?

If not, pray this prayer and start a new life in Christ.

Dear God, I come to You in the Name of Jesus. I admit that I am not right with You, and I want to be right with You. I ask You to forgive me of all my sins. The Bible says if I confess with my mouth that “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in my heart that God raised Him from the dead, I will be saved (Rom. 10:9). I believe with my heart and I confess with my mouth that Jesus is the Lord and Savior of my life. Thank You for saving me! In Jesus’ Name I pray. Amen.
