John Hagee Daily Devotional 25 December 2022 : Isaiah 9:6

SCRIPTURE: For unto us a Child is born, unto us a Son is given; and the government will be upon His shoulder. And His name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.
John Hagee Daily Devotional 25 December 2022 MESSAGE
When we are children, Christmas Day possesses a special kind of magic all its own. As adults, we still experience that sense of awe as we consider the reason that we celebrate. Isaiah prophesied that Jesus would be known as Wonderful – full of wonder – and oh, how we know it to be true.
Come, stand under a night sky with poor, work-worn shepherds as the stars are eclipsed by a multitude of angels singing God’s glory. Hurry along with them to gaze in awe at the holy Child that inspired a heavenly choir.
Come, travel with a caravan of kings in search of an even greater King. Follow a path lit by His blazing star to fall to your knees in adoration and worship. Bring out the greatest gifts – gold, frankincense, and myrrh – and know that even these are too little to honor Him.
Come, linger inside a stable filled with mellow lamplight, the snuffles of farm animals, and the cries of a newborn Child. Stretch to get a glimpse of the reverence on the faces of the young parents as they carefully swaddle this promised Babe.
Today, may your home be filled with the light and the love of that first Christmas night. May you draw near to worship and adore our King. May you reflect and rejoice in Immanuel – God come down to us. His name truly is Wonderful.
Today’s Blessing:
May the Lord bless you and keep you. May the Lord make His face to shine upon you and be gracious unto you and give you His peace. May you always be filled with the wonder of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. May His joy, love, and peace make this day holy and happy.

Salvation Prayer
Have you ever made Jesus the Lord and Savior of your life?
If not, pray this prayer and start a new life in Christ.
Dear God, I come to You in the Name of Jesus. I admit that I am not right with You, and I want to be right with You. I ask You to forgive me of all my sins. The Bible says if I confess with my mouth that “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in my heart that God raised Him from the dead, I will be saved (Rom. 10:9). I believe with my heart and I confess with my mouth that Jesus is the Lord and Savior of my life. Thank You for saving me! In Jesus’ Name I pray. Amen.
