SCRIPTURE: Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.
John Hagee Daily Devotional 31 December 2022 MESSAGE
Many of us launch into a new year with a handful of resolutions to make the coming months better than those we left behind. Jesus is the one path to true transformation.
When we welcome Christ into our ordinary lives, He transforms common clay into royalty. Everyday water becomes extraordinary wine. Unremarkable lives become trophies of His grace.
If you despair of a do-over, just look at the parade of people that Jesus granted new beginnings. A blustering, impulsive fisherman named Peter became a rock of the early church. From Christ-denying coward into a conqueror who was crucified upside down because of his radical faith!
John had such a hot temper that he was nicknamed “son of thunder,” but Jesus transformed him into an apostle of love. From the cross, he commissioned John to care for His own mother for the rest of her life.
Jesus transformed a Christian-killing, intellectual monster named Paul into a great evangelist and father of the New Testament church. And if He did it for them, He will do it for you!
When we plant ourselves in Christ Jesus – and He comes to abide in us – we have no need to fear the future. The old gives way to the new, and we are transformed to be like Him
Today’s Blessing:
May the Lord bless you and keep you. May the Lord make His face to shine upon you and be gracious unto you and give you His peace. Welcome the new year with courage and confidence! As you are changed to be more like Him, better things are just ahead!

Salvation Prayer
Have you ever made Jesus the Lord and Savior of your life?
If not, pray this prayer and start a new life in Christ.
Dear God, I come to You in the Name of Jesus. I admit that I am not right with You, and I want to be right with You. I ask You to forgive me of all my sins. The Bible says if I confess with my mouth that “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in my heart that God raised Him from the dead, I will be saved (Rom. 10:9). I believe with my heart and I confess with my mouth that Jesus is the Lord and Savior of my life. Thank You for saving me! In Jesus’ Name I pray. Amen.
