Daily Devotional 28 October 2021 Friday Message By The Prayer Portal

TOPIC: What Must I Do To Remain Relevant

TODAY’S SCRIPTURE: Judges 11:1-7; Psalm 141:1-4; 1 Cor. 15:9-10; Philippians 3:12-15; 2 Thessalonians 3:6-12

KEY VERSE: “And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.” Gen. 1:28

MESSAGE: One of the greatest driving desires of humanity is to live a fulfilled life. This move is spiritual and has God’s personal approval. However, we do not often meet up with the craving desires for reasons inherent in our human disposition. We shall look at a few critical but often neglected issues that can be used to measure our aptness to remain not only relevant but equally valuable.

BE CONSISTENT. Joshua 1:6-9; Matt. 5:37; 1 Cor. 15:58; 2 Cor. 1:17-20; James 5:12.

Consistency in service delivery, is a strategy that markets your potentials. What are known for? Do you make promises and rarely keep to them? Can you be trusted by others over financial matters, moral conduct .

Do you always keep to the terms of your contract agreement or you have a way of swindling people around? You risk losing your credibility when you don’t meet up with deadlines. It is not enough to supply an article on Monday against the Saturday that you agreed upon.

You stand the chance of not being referenced by your clients. You may think your actions don’t matter but they are actually matters working against you and not even the devil.

BE TIME CONSCIOUS. Gen. 1:1; 2:1-2; Eccl. 3:1. 1 Cor. 14::40

Time is the universal currency that respects none and yet all bow down to it. The entire program of creation was done under the highest discipline and time management scheme. God was setting a precedence for us to follow. What do people know you for? Is it as one who never keeps to time? This is a bad reputation that automatically put you in bad light.

Whenever you keep to time, it shows respect for others, love for God and decency. Even in eating there is a time for Breakfast, lunch and dinner. When you eat by 11 pm just before you go to bed, it has no classification under the meal timetable. Countless people have lost their jobs, missed international flights, incurred huge business losses because of this same issue. ‘

Some admissions in the hospital are occasioned by the individual’s inability to take the drug at the stipulated time. Lateness to work or church is not a function of distance but who you are. Avoid excuses. None of them is a successful business strategy.
